Angels going on a run Saturday

The Harbor Angels will be on the road again, and maybe a little off-road as well, this Saturday, holding a fundraiser run for Underwood’s Lisa Auck, who had an unexpected emergency surgery and a three-day hospital stay last November that wasn’t covered by insurance.
The Angels do fundraising "runs" for anyone who has a need for a little financial help because of some unexpected expenses, whether it’s medical bills, or damage from a fire, or just "financial distress," says Angel Nancy Pfeifer.
She’s not on the Angels’ board, but she does a lot of the work in getting things organized for the runs, works on the food and other activities the group does.
This Saturday’s event for Auck, an avid motorcyclist herself, who can often be seen riding her pink Kawasaki, gets underway at 11 a.m. Saturday with registration, and "kicks stands are up at noon."
The route is to be announced, noted Pfeifer. It is definitely not just a run for motorcyclists.
