Action-packed week comes to a close
The Underwood Homecoming fun went on with great involvement from both staff and students, according to high school principal Lee Weisgarber. It started out with students making posters, which were hung all over town. Samantha Cottingham was named queen and Dalton Hirschkorn was named king among the royalty. The week ended with a great victory over Center-Stanton in Turtle Lake. The following lists the various winners in the contests held during homecoming week at Underwood. Elementary Poster Contest: Students were asked to make their own unique poster celebrating homecoming and the student council judged the work. Students with the top posters were then awarded.
