‘Impressive’ response to fire call at school
Just before 8 p.m. last Wednesday night, the Underwood Fire, Ambulance and Rescue Squad members responded to the Underwood School following a 911 call reporting a possible fire near the weight room on the south side of the school.

No decision on co-op increase

Dollar General gets ‘ok’ from city
The Underwood City Commission put out the proverbial welcome mat for Dollar General to come to Underwood, approving the Planning and Zoning Board’s recommendation to change the zoning of Outlot “D” on the east side of Underwood from “Agriculture” to “General Commercial” at its meeting Wednesday night.
